About
About Us
Gulfstream IT Solutions was founded on a simple idea: Ormond Beach and Volusia County businesses shouldn't have to choose between enterprise-grade IT and local service. They shouldn't deal with distant call centers or one-size-fits-all solutions. They deserve someone who understands their business, their risks, and their budget.
Jared Johnson spent 15+ years as an IT Director managing enterprise environments — including a 4,400+ device infrastructure serving multiple offices and thousands of users. He managed cloud migrations at scale, built security operations, and designed disaster recovery strategies for organizations that couldn't afford downtime.
- Managed IT, Cybersecurity & Cloud (Microsoft 365, Intune, Entra ID)
- Web Design, Hosting & SEO
- IT Consulting & Strategic Planning
- HIPAA & Compliance Support
Then he came home to Ormond Beach and found a gap: local businesses — medical and dental practices, law firms, accounting firms, real estate brokerages, and professional services companies — weren't getting that level of sophistication. They were being treated as ticket numbers, or trying to DIY with insufficient resources.
So he built Gulfstream IT to fill that gap. We treat your IT like a strategic asset. We're local — not just geographically, but in how we work. You call and reach someone who knows your business. We show up when we say we will. We explain things in plain English, not jargon. And we give you the visibility and controls that larger enterprises take for granted.

Frequently Asked Questions
What areas do you serve?
We serve businesses throughout Volusia County, including Ormond Beach, Daytona Beach, Port Orange, Palm Coast, DeLand, and New Smyrna Beach. Most support is delivered remotely, with on-site visits available as needed. Remote capabilities mean distance within the region is never a barrier to getting help fast.
How is your pricing structured?
Managed IT is priced per user per month — from $100–$125/user for Essentials up to $175–$225/user for Enterprise. This covers all devices for that user with no per-ticket or per-incident charges. Web design and IT consulting are project-based. See our pricing page for full details.
What industries do you specialize in?
We work with medical and dental practices, law firms, real estate brokerages, accounting firms, non-profits, and professional services companies with 10–150 employees. Our Enterprise tier includes HIPAA and PCI compliance support for regulated industries.
What is the Free IT Health Check?
The IT Health Check is a 2–4 hour remote or on-site audit of your network, security posture, backup configuration, and compliance status. You'll receive a written findings report with prioritized recommendations. There's no obligation to purchase anything — we want you to see our expertise firsthand before committing to anything.
Is there a long-term contract required?
No long-term contract is required. We recommend a 12-month agreement for managed IT services to allow us to properly plan and budget for your environment, but all plans can be cancelled with 60 days written notice. We earn your business every month.
What makes Gulfstream different from other local IT companies?
Our founder brings 15+ years of enterprise IT Director experience managing thousands of endpoints, cloud migrations, and cybersecurity operations for a national organization. You get Fortune-500 expertise at a local business price, with the personal attention of a dedicated partner who knows your business — not a call center.
Do you offer HIPAA compliance support?
Yes. Our Enterprise tier includes compliance management for HIPAA and PCI-DSS, including security risk assessments, policy documentation, audit logging, and employee security awareness training. Medical and dental practices are one of our core client segments in Volusia County.
Can you help if I just need a website, not IT services?
Absolutely. Web design and hosting is a standalone service — no managed IT contract required. We build professional, mobile-optimized websites for Volusia County businesses starting at $2,500. We also offer monthly hosting, maintenance, and SEO retainers to keep your site performing after launch.
